What happens next

Interest first. Authorization and orders later.

Supporters can help by telling us whether they would want a plate and whether their organization could help share the idea statewide.

  1. Build statewide interest. We are collecting responses from residents and organizations now.
  2. Seek legislative authorization. The plate would need to pass the Tennessee General Assembly.
  3. Meet the initial order threshold. After authorization, at least 1,000 orders are generally required before a new specialty earmarked plate can be issued.
No purchase or payment today. Emailing your interest is not a reservation, preorder, or guarantee that the plate will be produced. Please do not send payment or vehicle information.
